Bezpustkowie

PL ENG

Hi, I'm Ania 🌱

Since childhood, my mind has been a bezpustkowie – a swirl of thoughts, ideas, and dreams. (Bezpustkowie is a word I made up. It doesn’t exist in Polish, but it’s built from bez – meaning “without”, and pustkowie – meaning “emptiness,” “void,” or “nothingness.”). I love being in nature, wandering and discovering new places. I enjoy creating, reading, playing board games, and hunting for bizarre animals in museums. I like when the world slows down and you can truly savour the moment.

Bezpustkowie is my drawer of thoughts – a little internet garden of words. You’ll find a bit of everything here: notes from everyday life, moments of wonder, stories from journeys both far and near, posts about books, projects, and all sorts of things. It’s a way of fighting perfectionism, answering the longing to write, and indulging in a bit of blog nostalgia.

As you can see, I write in Polish. I’d love to keep this habit going – it’s my way of taking care of my mother tongue while more and more Internet content is available only in English. Because… even though I live in Poland and use the language every day, the last time I wrote anything longer was back at university – and only because I had to. Feel free to translate my posts if you'd like. Thanks for stopping by this little corner of the Internet!
